Pittsburgh

Pittsburgh is a great city to visit. Whether you spend a day or a weekend there, you'll have a great time.  Some of the highlights include

-The Inclines up to the top of Mt. Washington -- take a restored 1800s incline up to the top to find great ice cream, restaurants, and a great view of the city

-Aviary -- there is over 600 types of birds at this walk through exhibit. They actually have a pretty cool website, which can be found here!

-The Strip -- this is kind of like Cleveland's Warehouse district only in Pitt. Shops, restaurants, flea markets and the like.

-See the Pirates or Steelers or Penguins

-Go on a college visit to one of the cities many colleges and university

There are plenty of other things to see and do there. If you are interested in spending some time in Pitt, I encourage you to check out this site. It has further links to areas in the city and gives ideas if you're spending time there with kids, or you want to do some free things, and tons of other great web sites.

  3. Once again - no mention of the FOOD! The famous/infamous Roethlisburger (did I spell that right?)

  4. Randy, Derek and Alex ate the Roethlisburger sandwich. Derek was the only one that finished his. It had stuff on it that just doesn't belong together on a sandwich.

  5. Haha, that sounds like the perfect sandwich for Derek then! I am not surprised he ate it all!
